Homemade quilts,
made one story at a time.

Every quilt here was designed, pieced and quilted by Megan Fisher. Bring a story, a stack of fabric or just an idea, and she’ll turn it into something you keep for generations.

Meet the maker

Hi, I’m Megan.

I found my love for quilting when my grandparents gifted me my first sewing machine at 10 years old. I have so many fond memories of hand tying quilts with my Grandma on my Great Grandma’s wooden quilt frames.

Fast forward a few years and my love for quilting jumped to new heights when my Aunt and Uncle opened a quilt store (shoutout to The Quilter’s Lodge). Their store was the first time I had ever seen a longarm machine. It was simply incredible.

Creating a quilt has many steps and takes a great deal of time, like all art. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help you tell a story through art and bring your vision to life.

How a commission comes together

  1. 01

    Share the story

Who it’s for, what it should feel like, and any fabric you’d like included, like shirts, jeans or keepsakes.

  2. 02

    Design & fabric

Together we settle on a pattern, palette and size before a single cut is made.

  3. 03

    Piecing & quilting

The top is pieced, layered and quilted, then finished with hand-sewn binding.

  4. 04

    Ready to keep

Your quilt is washed, folded and delivered, ready to be used and loved.
